Clay County Animal Rescue & ShelterAmerican Pit Bull Terrier (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : Large
Roxy is a beautiful blue pit who has been spayed and fully vaccinated. Roxy was seized as part of a humane investigation and spent months at the shelter before finally being adopted out. She was adopted in May and since then was great with kids, neighborhood dogs and did well inside, though she preferred to be outside. The thing that got her into trouble was that she would kill rabbits in the neighborhood and chase birds at a neighbor's bird feeder. Even a beagle will do that, so we don't hold this against Roxy too much. We think Roxy would do great with a family with a fenced in yard, so she could play outside without getting into trouble with the neighbors. Roxy's adoption fee is only $50 and she is already spayed.
