Clay County Animal Rescue & ShelterAmerican Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Young : : Medium
Rose was given away with her littermates as a free puppy in the Walmart parking lot. The people who took her in were kind people, but lost their job and couldn't afford to keep her. Thankfully, they called the shelter to relinquish, so we could vaccinate and spay her before rehoming her. Rose is a sweet 5 1/2 month old pitbull mix. She has been in a home with two small children this past 2-3 months and is well on the way to being housetrained, I'm told. Rose was spayed this week, so is ready for a fresh start.
